On September 18, 2024, a serious two-vehicle collision occurred involving a Nissan Sentra and a red Chevy Silverado on US-160 in Sacramento County. According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. near Blumenfeld and Fee Drive.

The incident unfolded as the Nissan Sentra, occupied by three males, emerged from underneath the freeway and crossed in front of the Chevy Silverado. This sudden movement resulted in both vehicles being pushed off the roadway. The Silverado’s driver escaped unscathed, but the driver and front passenger of the Sentra suffered critical injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. The third occupant in the Sentra, seated in the rear, was not injured. The collision’s exact cause remains under investigation.
