A white 2014 Freightliner Cascadia tractor pulling two end-dump trailers was heading south, and a tan 2004 Honda Civic was heading north.<\/p>\n<p>According to the CHP, \"for an unknown reason, a broadside crash occurred within the southbound lane of traffic.\" The Honda was badly damaged, and a passenger in the car died from their injuries.
