As he approached 85th Avenue, he attempted a delayed left turn, lost control of the vehicle, and veered onto the sidewalk in front of a market and liquor store. The car struck a group of people gathered outside. Robert Dixon, 64, Miguel Sanchez-Ramirez, 44, and Charles Blackmon, 65, were killed at the scene.
