Just before 7:25 a.m., a driver traveling eastbound on Oregon Avenue made a left turn onto St. Francis Drive and struck the woman in the crosswalk. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officers. Palo Alto Police stated that alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the collision.<\/p>\n      <p>The victim was transported by emergency responders to a hospital for treatment of her injuries. She was described as being in her 50s.
