El incidente ocurri\u00f3 alrededor de las 4:47 p.m., cuando un sed\u00e1n rojo que esperaba para girar a la izquierda fue impactado por detr\u00e1s por una SUV GMC gris. El impacto empuj\u00f3 al sed\u00e1n hacia la trayectoria de un cami\u00f3n grande que ven\u00eda en sentido contrario, lo que result\u00f3 en una violenta colisi\u00f3n secundaria.\n\nDos pasajeros dentro del sed\u00e1n fueron declarados muertos en el lugar. Las autoridades identificaron a las v\u00edctimas como un hombre de 31 a\u00f1os de Port Hueneme y un hombre de 35 a\u00f1os de Salinas.
