href=\"http:\/\/ikz.emg.mybluehost.me\/driver-flees-after-a-multi-vehicle-crash-along-i-680-in-concord\/\">collisions on Interstate 680 in Concord<\/a> resulted in one fatality and one person sustaining major injuries, sparking an in-depth investigation by the California Highway Patrol.<\/span><\/p><h3>The Incident<\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Sunday night, July 14, 2024, around 10:55 p.m., a tragic series of collisions occurred on southbound Interstate 680, just north of Concord Avenue. California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports indicate that the incident began with a black Honda Civic, driven by an adult male with an adult female passenger. The Honda crashed into a concrete barrier.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the Honda deflected off the barrier, it ended up blocking lanes 3 and 4.
