About Lissethe Montiel
Lissethe Montiel first joined Scranton Law Firm in August 2012, as a Receptionist. Shortly after, she became a Case Coordinator, where she learned the ins and outs of the life of a case in pre-litigation. In this position, she had the opportunity to work with several legal assistants, helping to gather essential documents and information to get the best possible compensation for our clients. During this time, she pursued her Paralegal Certificate, and now supports her attorney as a Litigation Paralegal. Lissethe’s ability to think outside the box, attention to detail, and experience, benefits our clients by offering a unique set of professional skills.
Lissethe has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Business Administration, and received her Paralegal Certificate from California State University, East Bay in 2017. She is also a Notary Public for the State of California, and is fluent in Spanish.
Born in Nicaragua, Lissethe moved to the United States with her mom when she was only 5 years old, and has lived in the Bay Area ever since. She has been happily married to her high school sweetheart for 14 years, and has two beautiful kids. In her spare time, Lissethe enjoys reading, watching movies, cooking, going on mini adventures with her family, exploring new foods and restaurants, and she loves dancing.
