About Gloria Pita
Gloria Pita was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, a few blocks from the Mississippi River. She attended Meadows-Draughon Business College there. At age 20, Gloria and her husband moved across the country to northern California, where she worked various administrative jobs prior to beginning her career as a Legal Secretary around 1985. Gloria worked for defense firms, as well as a bankruptcy attorney, in the Central Valley, moving to the Bay Area in 1991.
Ms. Pita began working at Scranton Law Firm in 2012, and LOVES plaintiff work! Her bilingual skills (she is of Mexican and Irish ancestry) are very useful when working with the many Hispanic clients who come to Scranton Law Firm for help navigating through the insurance and legal worlds.
Ms. Pita’s secret to keeping sane throughout the day is to stay ORGANIZED! She also feels the importance of staying positive and calm, even amid deadlines and files that play hide-and-seek.
In her free time, Ms. Pita spends much time with her 2 adult boys, daughters-in-law, 2 grandsons, ages 21 and 13, and 4 dogs. Ms. Pita also does private Therapeutic Tarot readings throughout the Bay Area, including reading at large events, such as corporate parties and wineries. She also teaches classes to individuals who want to learn to read the Tarot.
