Daniel joined the Scranton Law Firm because he feels strongly about helping those who aren’t getting a fair shake. Injuries, accidents, and other assorted mishaps happen every day and even those people who are well-prepared can find themselves in a situation where they are unsure as to what to do.
Daniel grew up in the Bay Area, but left California to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado. He returned to California to attend McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, where he worked in private criminal defense and as a public defender, learning firsthand how slanted the legal system can be. Daniel most recently worked at a large civil defense firm, where he witnessed the vast resources and deep pockets possessed by insurance companies and how difficult it is for an injured person to protect their interests and their families.
As someone who has seen how these insurance companies bully their way to success, Daniel decided that he didn’t want to continue to help insurance companies pad their pockets. Instead, he seeks to use his experience and skill to prevent these mega-firms from continuing to take from the little guy.
“I’ve helped people just like you get the money they deserve!” ~Daniel Platt
